“We loved our guide Song, who took us on a 3hour trek through the villages and Rice paddies. She was from a local tribe and talked a ,ot about her culture and their way of life. She was a very gentle and sweet person. Trip up to Fanzipan was great. Excellent views from cable car on the way up. Misty at the top so no view, but this is common. Great experience anyway. For people who don't want to walk the 600 steps you can catch a mono rail to the top. We did feel giddy from the high altitude of 3400 meters.”

Picked us up from Hanoi and dropped us at Sapa where the tour guide Sue was waiting for us. After lunch, we took the cable car to Fansipan mountain. It took a good 4 hours to go up and come back to the hotel room. Next day, we trekked to 3 villages and asking the mountain slopes. The views were amazing and the overall experience was great.
