“We booked our full-day tour in Ninh Binh at the very last minute after hearing so many incredible things from other travelers—and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our Vietnam trip, right up there with Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay. The temple was impressive and our guide Henry was so knowledgeable about it all and also patient when we went up the Mua cave which I recommend to do such a rewarding view. I think we stayed too long though. Everyone was just standing around and we could have gotten on the road to the next stop. The cycling was only ok. Very old bikes and not really much to see on the route, especially when trying to dodge potholes. It was extremely hot but that is not the fault of the company. Lunch was not good.
